01 / WebsitesBespoke

Designed and built from nothing.

The kind of site people stop scrolling for.

Art direction, the design of every page, and the build: fast, accessible and right on a phone.

Launch is the middle, not the end: we measure, tune, and keep it fast.

What you get

  1. Brand and art direction
  2. Design and front-end build
  3. Content, search and analytics set up
  4. Hosting and care after launch

02 / Simple websitesA few clear pages

Simple websites.

Not everything needs a film.

Most businesses need a few clear pages — what you do, where you are, how to reach you — quick on a phone and easy to keep up to date. We make those too, with the same care.

Align Retreats.

A site with two halves: one that answers questions, and one that takes you somewhere.

The first is deliberately ordinary: what the four days are, who runs them, what it costs and what it doesn’t cover. Places are paid for through Stripe, the places left are counted from Stripe rather than typed in, and the waiting list goes to Mailchimp.

Dates, price and capacity live in one file: the pages, the structured data and the plain-text summary for language models are all generated from it, so none of them can drift from the others. The other half is a painted walk through native bush, in real-time 3D.

The case study: Align Retreats ↗Take the walk (opens in a new tab) ↗

Why Pumice.

A small, independent studio in Golden Bay, Aotearoa: small on purpose.

  1. The same hands

Designed, built and rendered by the same hands, from the first sketch to the last frame — and you watch it grow.

  2. One fixed quote

One quote for the whole job, agreed in writing before anything is built, in NZD or AUD.

  3. Right on a phone

Fast, accessible and right on a phone — and a simple site is light pages that open fast, anywhere.

  4. People, not chatbots

A person decides what we make, designs it, and checks and signs off everything we deliver.

After you write.

Nothing is built before there is one quote for the whole job, agreed in writing.

Every project is quoted per project, in full, before it starts: one fixed quote for the whole job, in NZD or AUD, depending on where you are.

  1. Discover

We listen first: what you have, who it is for, and what would make it work. No pitch theatre.

  2. Define

One clear direction, and one quote for the whole job, agreed in writing before anything is built.

  3. Create

Designed, built and rendered by the same hands, and you watch it grow.

  4. Refine

Launch is the middle, not the end: we measure, tune, and keep it fast.

Questions.

Before a project starts.

  1. How much does a website cost?

There are no list prices. Every project is quoted per project, in full, before it starts: one fixed quote for the whole job, in NZD or AUD, depending on where you are.

  2. What happens after I get in touch?

We listen first: what you have, who it is for, and what would make it work. No pitch theatre. Then one clear direction, and one quote for the whole job, agreed in writing before anything is built.

  3. Can I keep the site up to date myself?

A simple website is made to be easy to keep: change it yourself, or ask us.

  4. Do you look after it once it’s live?

Yes: hosting and care after launch are part of it. Launch is the middle, not the end: we measure, tune, and keep it fast.

  5. Do you work with people outside New Zealand?

Yes. We work from Golden Bay, at the top of the South Island, for people anywhere — and quote in NZD or AUD, depending on where you are.

  6. Do you use AI?

As a tool, not the author: a person decides what we make, designs it, writes or edits the words, checks the details and signs off everything we deliver.
